Although I struggled a bit conceptualizing it initially (and I find it really hard to draw dogs), I think it came out quite lovely. I started off with a dog dingbat (picture font) and turned it into a retriever by giving it a nice thick snout. You could argue that it looks more like a Lab but that would be rude.

Thanks Rebecca! I got the Wacom Intuos 3 (http://www.wacom.com/intuos/) in the 6 x 8 size and I really enjoy using it. I like it much better than my old one. The drawing pad has some sort of texture to it that makes it seem more like you're writing on paper.
The best thing about getting a new tablet was all of the software coupons that came with it! Pssst... you can get a sweet deal on photoshop (a girl can get by only having Illustrator for so long :)
