free friday finds :: paper shadows

Look no further than your doorstep for this week's find. Using an idea from Samson's preschool, we broke out a roll of paper (the type you use for an art easel) and some pencils to make paper shadows of the kids.


Afterwards, Samson asked me if I could turn his shadow into Red Power Ranger (which is pretty funny since he doesn't really know what a Power Ranger is). Naturally, I obliged.


I took the liberty of giving our Ranger a belt--it seemed wrong for him to be wearing a belly shirt.

There's a reason why I don't sew, make patterns, or use scissors for a living.
