Seven years ago today I sat with a dear friend of mine in her apartment waiting for word from New York. We ordered pizza that never came and talked about nothing. The hours came and went without news until there was the saddest news of all.
David Wiswall, while I never met you, the day I spent with your daughter is a part of my soul. You would be so proud to see the wife and mother she has become. And I am so proud that she is my friend.

That was written beautifully.
Have a similiar memory of this day- but a happy ending- thanks for your comments on my blog - absolutley LOVE your site!
I just got goosebumps. Prayers to the Wiswall family. My high school classmate worked for Aon as well...
Such a very touching post.
Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts; I've been meaning to write that for a long time.
I didn't lose anyone I was close to that day but I, like so many others, was deeply affected by the stories of those left behind.
