We'll be hosting my in-laws for Christmas dinner this year and I've been dreaming up fun things to do with our table. Placemats are pretty much out of the question with two small, messy kids so I'm on the search for some simple (and casual) table runners. Here are some of my favorites (some more holiday-ish than others):

We used a runner for the first time on Thanksgiving and I loved it. We have an amazing glass topped Danish table and it's always been hidden beneath a table cloth.
I'm loving that last runner you show. Stunning!
